FLIGHT MISSION

Michel Masserey

ATC (Air Traffic Control) team is in charge of planning the flight route of the Solar Impulse aircraft, and coordinating this route with the national Air Navigation Services of all airspaces to be crossed. Our main activity consists of developing and negotiating specific flight procedures fitting to the very particular flight performances of the Solar Impulse aircraft, taking into account the complex international standard flight rules.
